Sex and Death in the American Novel

Sex and Death in the American Novel - Sarah Martinez Did you find any flaws in the book? Only flaw I found was it ended. It was one of those books I wished would go on forever.

Dark Side of Sunset Pointe - A Lance Underphal Mystery - Michael Allan Scott Describe 2 different settings or locations. The Lion's Den, a gentleman's club. Big Mikes hot tub, located in his home gym.

Favourite character(s) … Lance. Sometimes, he appears weak for the main character. In other times, he keeps the story going in a way no one else can and you keep salivating for more.

Did the book end the way you expected? No, the end had many twists and turns. Didn't expect most of it and I liked the book for this.

What I didn't like – There were too many useless characters. Too many names who didn't add anything constructive to the story. In some sections, this made it hard to follow the story and unappealing.

A Tale of the Other Kind: A Therian Novel

A Tale of the Other Kind - Leandi Cameron What were the main themes of the book? The story was about a high school boy and first love. It was also about Kai's ability to change into a leopard. The author did a pretty good job executing the themes.

Favourite location / setting … It is too hard to pick just one. I would pick every single forest scene. The chase / fight scenes were trully thrilling especially when they happened in the forest.

What did you think of the story structure? Most of the story was a straightforward read. I appreciate this style of writing and I really can't wait for book 2.

Daimones (Daimones Trilogy, #1) - Massimo Marino One word that describes a character. Survivor - He found, guns, ammo, first aid supplies, dogs. And he parked a UPS truck in front of his house to block the entrance.

Compare two of the characters in this book. Mary - Wife, mother and teacher. Laura - Pretty 22 year old college student.

Rewrite the ending of the book. I would have it jump 12 years and give Annah a young man in her life.

What do you think the author was trying to accomplish with this novel? Just to give his take on the mid-life aging crisis.

At the end of the book, do you feel hope for the characters? I hope that Robinson has learned to accept the changes happening and is not longer trying to fight gravity.

Fatal Trial

Fatal Trial - Mick Bose If your book was a mystery, what the mystery was and how it was solved. Faye is trying to find her father. She receives help along the way from Alex. While trying to find her father, they learn about drug trials and the people used to test the drug.

What problems does one of the characters have, and how does he or she solve it? The villain has people killed when get in his way. This is one way to keep people from figuring out what is happening.

Marching With Caesar: Civil War

Marching With Caesar: Civil War - R.W. Peake

Did you find that the cover and title represented what the story was really about? The cover shows a soldier. Whether he is going off to war or coming home is only determined by reading. Yes, the description and cover went along with the book.

What did you think of the story structure? It seemed more like the past was revealed in sections. This did not jump back and forth. It seemed that this moved along correctly with time.

Which secondary character resonated most with you? Publius, something about this guy I just do not like. It seemed like he only was interested in besting anyone. To show he was superior in everything. He did not seem concerned with anyone but himself.

What did you think of the ending? The book ending like a movie. Readers will know that something more is to come. The drawback is the waiting for the next book to be released.
